Cookie Policy

What cookies we set, why we use them, and how you can control them.

Last updated: May 2025PECR Compliant
01

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device — computer, phone or tablet — when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device on return visits and can remember information such as your preferences, session state, or how you arrived at the page.

Similar technologies are also covered by this policy:

  • Local storage & session storage — data stored in your browser that persists beyond a single page (local storage) or only for the current tab session (session storage)
  • Pixel tags / web beacons — tiny invisible images embedded in pages or emails used to track whether content was viewed or a link was clicked
  • Device fingerprinting — a technique that identifies a device based on its characteristics (browser, OS, screen size) without placing a file on it

This Cookie Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains in more detail how we handle personal data collected via cookies and similar technologies.

02

Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are strictly necessary for our website to function. They enable core features such as page navigation, form submission, security and session management. Without these cookies, parts of the site will not work.

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), essential cookies do not require your consent because they are necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested.

You cannot opt out of essential cookies. Blocking them through your browser settings will prevent our booking forms, contact forms and navigation from functioning correctly.

03

Analytics Cookies

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website — which pages are most visited, how long people stay, and where they came from. This data is used solely to improve the site experience and our content. It is collected in an anonymised or pseudonymised form wherever possible.

We use Google Analytics (or a privacy-first alternative such as Plausible or Fathom) for this purpose. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent.

Cookie / KeyPurposeDurationType

What We Measure

  • Pages visited and the order in which they were visited
  • Time spent on each page and overall session duration
  • How visitors arrived at our site (search engine, direct, referral, social media)
  • Device type, operating system and browser version (anonymised)
  • Geographic region (country / city level, not precise location)
  • Bounce rate and pages where visitors exit the site

Analytics data is never used to identify you personally, shared with advertisers, or used to build individual profiles. It is processed in aggregate to help us understand overall website performance.

04

Performance Cookies

Performance cookies collect information about how the website loads and behaves — identifying slow pages, errors, or technical issues that affect the user experience. This data helps us optimise site speed and reliability.

Performance cookies are set only with your consent. The data collected is anonymous and used exclusively by our development team to identify and fix technical issues.

05

User Preference Cookies

Preference cookies allow our website to remember choices you have previously made — so you don't have to set them again on your next visit. These make the experience more convenient without changing how the site functions.

Future Marketing & Tracking Cookies

We currently do not run paid advertising campaigns or use marketing tracking cookies. However, as our business grows we may introduce marketing and retargeting capabilities. This section outlines how such cookies would be used if and when implemented.

What Marketing Cookies Would Do

  • Track whether you clicked a link in one of our ads or promotional campaigns
  • Record pages visited so we can measure campaign effectiveness
  • Enable retargeting — showing relevant ads on other platforms (e.g. Google, Meta) to visitors who have previously visited our site
  • Attribute conversions (bookings, enquiries) back to the marketing channel that drove them

Marketing Platforms We May Use

  • Google Ads / Google Tag Manager — conversion tracking and remarketing
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram) — campaign measurement and custom audiences
  • TikTok Pixel — campaign performance for TikTok advertising

Your Consent

Marketing and retargeting cookies will only ever be set with your explicit consent via our cookie banner. You will be able to accept or decline them independently of other cookie categories. We will update this policy before activating any marketing cookies.

Marketing cookies are not currently active on this website. This section is provided for transparency about our future plans. You will be asked to re-consent if and when marketing cookies are introduced.

07

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our website are set by third-party services we integrate with. We do not control these cookies — they are governed by the privacy and cookie policies of the respective providers.

  • Meta (WhatsApp / Facebook / Instagram): privacypolicies.com/meta
  • YouTube: youtube.com/t/privacy

When you interact with third-party embedded content — such as a WhatsApp chat button or video — the third party may set additional cookies on your device. We recommend reviewing their policies for the most up-to-date information.

08

Cookie Management & Your Choices

You have several ways to control which cookies are placed on your device. Note that blocking certain categories may affect how the website works.

09

Policy Updates & Contact

We review this Cookie Policy regularly and update it to reflect changes in technology, legislation or our own practices. When we make material changes — such as introducing new cookie categories — we will update the "Last updated" date and, where required, ask for your consent again.
